Web User Graphical Interface (Web GUI) - is the basic way to configure and operate a wireless unit.

Access

WANFleX OS starts automatically when you power on the unit, Web GUI is enabled by default. In order to access the unit via Web browser, type an IP address in the address bar.

NOTE

By default any username and any password can be used to login Quanta 5 Web GUI.

It's strongly recommended to set permanent username and password after the first log in. In order to do this go to the "General settings" section.

Overview

Web GUI divided into main content area and left side menu which includes a number of sections with configuration parameters. By default the dashboard is opened after login.

The dashboard is intended to provide the main information about the wireless unit operation. A lot of characteristics are presented for uplink and downlink and per stream, so you may see the whole information about link operation on the same dashboard.

The following information you may find at the top panel:

  • Unit and link summary:
    • Unit role.
    • Link status - there are the following statuses are available:
      • On Master unit:
        • Started - Master unit is waiting for Slave unit for link establishment.
        • Connected - link established.
      • On Slave unit:
        • Sector detection - Slave unit is searching for Master unit for link establishment.
        • Connected - link established.
    • Link identificator.
    • Calculated link distance.
    • Link uptime.
    • Current firmware version.
  • Network interfaces:
    • Radio:
      • Current values of the basic radio parameters.
      • Graphs for traffic statistics on the radio interface, where the current max capacity and current utilization level are presented.
    • Wired interface:
      • Graphs for traffic statistics on the wired interface.

The metrics of the wireless link are presented under the top panel:

  • MCS.
  • RSSI.
  • CINR.
  • ARQ.
  • Frame loss.
