The dashboard is opened after login by default. The dashboard is intended to provide the main information about the wireless unit operation. It contains characteristics for uplink and downlink traffic and per stream, so the whole information about link operation can be displayed on the same dashboard.

Information panel

The following information you may find at the top panel.

Figure - Information panel
  • Unit and link summary:
    • Unit role.
    • Link status - there are the following statuses are available:
      • On Master unit:
        • Started - Master unit is waiting for Slave unit to establish the link.
        • Connected - link established.
      • On Slave unit:
        • Sector detection - Slave unit is searching for Master unit for link establishment.
        • Connected - link established.
    • Link identificator.
    • Calculated link distance.
    • Link uptime.
    • Current firmware version.
  • Network interfaces:
    • Radio:
      • Current values of the basic radio parameters.
      • Graphs for traffic statistics on the radio interface, where the current max capacity and current utilization level are displayed.

Link metrics

The wireless link metrics are shown for both polarisations, uplink and downlink traffic below the top panel.

Figure - Link metrics
  • MCS - current modulation coding scheme.
  • RSSI -  absolute level of the received radio signal, optimal values should be in range -40 ... -60 dBm.
  • CINR - the signal quality, recommended value is 28 dB or more.
  • ARQ - number of repeated packets.
  • Frame loss - number of lost packets.
