The device can be configured via:

  • Console port.
  • Command line interface.
  • Web interface.

Configuring via console port 

The device is equipped with an RJ45 console port to connect PC for configuration and management. In order to configure the device using console port, follow the below:

  • Connect the console port to the PC serial port with the console cable.
  • Check the PC serial port number. To do this, go to "Device Manager" → "COM and LPT ports". The example uses the COM3 port (you may need to install drivers).
  • Run any terminal emulation program (for example, PuTTY: https://www.putty.org/).




In order to configure the device using console port, follow the below:

  • Device should be connected with serial interface, using console cable.
  • Start any terminal emulation software (e.g. Hyper Terminal).
  • Set serial interface properties to 38400 baud rate, 8 bit, 1 stop bit, parity off, flow control disabled
  • Enable emulation mode ANSI or VT100, keyboard VT100
